Visiting and giving gifts to families of traffic accident victims in Viet Yen town

(BBG)- On the occasion of the World Day of Remembrance for Traffic Accident Victims, on the morning of November 15, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Director of the Department of Transport of Bac Giang , Deputy Head of the Traffic Safety Committee of Bac Giang province and the working delegation visited and presented gifts to 3 families of traffic accident victims in Viet Yen town.

Also attending were representatives of the People's Council, Traffic Safety Committee of Viet Yen town and communes where the victims' families live.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Tung presented gifts and encouraged the family of victim Do Van Son, Than Chuc village, Tien Son commune.

The delegation visited 3 families of traffic accident victims, including: Ms. Vu Thi Kham (born in 1963), a poor household in Duc Lien residential group, Hong Thai ward, had an accident on a road in Duc Lien residential group, Hong Thai ward, as a result, Ms. Kham suffered multiple injuries; Duong Thi Lan (born in 2009), Ha Lat village, Tien Son commune, had an accident on provincial road 398, as a result, Lan was injured and taken to Military Hospital 110 for emergency treatment, and later died (the victim donated organs to save people); Mr. Do Van Son (born in 1999), Than Chuc village, Tien Son commune, had an accident on provincial road 398, as a result, Mr. Son died on the way to the emergency room.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Tung encouraged the family of victim Duong Thi Lan, Ha Lat village, Tien Son commune.

At the families visited, comrade Nguyen Thanh Tung and members of the delegation shared the pain, loss and difficulties of the families. At the same time, they encouraged the families to strive to overcome their circumstances and rise up in life.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Tung requested local Party committees, authorities and organizations to regularly pay attention to, care for and help families of traffic accident victims; strengthen propaganda and build traffic culture among people, contributing to reducing traffic accidents.

On this occasion, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee and the Viet Yen Town Traffic Safety Committee presented gifts to the three families of the above traffic accident victims, each gift worth 4 million VND.
