Secretary of the Thang Binh District Party Committee Nguyen Van Luom visited and presented gifts to the families; at the same time, he expressed deep gratitude and appreciation to the previous generations who fought and bravely sacrificed to win independence and freedom for the nation, especially contributing to the liberation of Thang Binh homeland.
Mr. Nguyen Van Luom also provided information on activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of his homeland, taking place from March 24th to 26th; the highlight being the night of March 25th, after the commemorative ceremony, there will be a fireworks display themed "Thang Binh 50 Years - Seasons of Flowers" and an art program broadcast live by Quang Nam Radio and Television Station for people inside and outside the district to watch.
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Thang Binh district, the district allocated 200 million VND from the Gratitude Fund to visit 200 exemplary families of policy beneficiaries and meritorious individuals.
Localities in the district have also distributed over 8,000 gifts from Quang Nam province to policy beneficiaries and meritorious individuals to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Quang Nam province (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025) and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Provincial Party Committee (March 28, 1930 - March 28, 2025).
