According to a decision of the Provincial Party Committee, the An Giang Provincial Military Party Committee was established, directly under the An Giang Provincial Party Committee, based on the merger of the Kien Giang Provincial Military Party Committee, the Kien Giang Provincial Border Guard Party Committee, the An Giang Provincial Military Party Committee, and the An Giang Provincial Border Guard Party Committee.
Colonel Nguyen Van Ngành presented the decision appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
At the ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee announced its decision to appoint the Provincial Military Party Committee Executive Board for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 21 members; and to appoint the Standing Committee of the Provincial Military Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 7 members.
The Provincial Party Committee appointed Comrade Nguyen Tien Hai, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, as Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee; Colonel Huynh Van Khoi, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, as Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee; and Colonel Nguyen Van Nganh, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee.
The decision to appoint the Provincial Military Party Committee's Inspection Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 7 members, was announced. Colonel Cao Minh Tam, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, was appointed as the Chairman of the Provincial Military Party Committee's Inspection Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
Colonel Nguyen Van Ngành presented the decision appointing members to the Party Committee's Inspection Commission of the An Giang Provincial Military Command for the 2025-2030 term.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Van Ngành, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Commander of the Provincial Military Command, congratulated the comrades receiving the decisions on this occasion; and emphasized that after the merger, An Giang province now has a large territory and a strategically important position in the national defense posture. This is a prerequisite for the province to have a foundation for development, but it also places a great responsibility on the provincial armed forces.

Therefore, comrades in the Party Committee and Standing Committee need to focus on effectively implementing the Party's policies and resolutions, upholding the spirit of unity and exemplary conduct in carrying out military and national defense tasks. They should continue to be creative, flexible, and timely in advising and proposing solutions to difficulties and shortcomings in the implementation of military and national defense tasks and border defense work in the new situation.
The Provincial Military Party Committee needs to be united, proactive, creative, disciplined, and determined to build the armed forces of An Giang province into a truly core force, absolutely loyal to the Party, the State, and the People, excellently fulfilling all assigned tasks in military, national defense, and border defense work, contributing to maintaining political security, order, and social safety in the area, especially in the border region.
