In his opening remarks at the conference, Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Phuc province, Tran Duy Dong, emphasized the importance of using industry as a driving force for economic growth and job creation, and stated that Vinh Phuc has implemented many mechanisms and policies to create favorable conditions for investors.

However, Vinh Phuc still faces many difficulties in developing industrial parks, including legal obstacles, land clearance issues, land prices, and planning quality. Some investors also express concerns that the province has not fully utilized its potential to attract investment commensurate with its geographical advantages and labor resources.

Mr. Kenta Kawanabe, General Director of Thang Long Vinh Phuc Industrial Park Co., Ltd., emphasized that the province needs to focus on training and supporting the recruitment of high-quality labor through job fairs or acting as a liaison with universities, colleges, and vocational schools. He also stressed the need to continue implementing open mechanisms and policies to support investors regarding land, compensation, and site clearance.

Meanwhile, Mr. Trinh Van Quang, Director of the Ba Thien 2 Industrial Park Project Development, Vina-CPK Joint Stock Company, stated that Vinh Phuc province has many favorable factors for industrial development. However, the results of attracting investment have not been commensurate with the province's potential and advantages.

To ensure Vinh Phuc continues to be an attractive destination for investors, Mr. Trinh Van Quang believes it is necessary to promptly implement and finalize regional plans, zoning plans, industrial park development plans, and concretize the provincial plan approved by the Prime Minister . This will serve as a basis for investors to review and develop plans for conducting research and preparing applications for approval of investment policies for new industrial park projects.

At the same time, effectively address issues related to land valuation, land price frameworks, land allocation, and the approval of funding for resettlement projects serving industrial park infrastructure projects, creating a favorable environment for accelerating compensation, resettlement, and land clearance. Continue to improve the quality of technical infrastructure outside the industrial park boundaries, especially regarding electricity, water, worker housing, and public transportation…

During the conference, many investors expressed their concerns about the obstacles facing Vinh Phuc in developing its industrial zones. They also hoped the local authorities would quickly address these issues to improve the investment environment.

Concluding the conference, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Phuc province affirmed that the province is committed to creating the most favorable conditions for investors. The local government will strive to resolve any obstacles, while also requiring investors to strictly comply with legal regulations, protect the environment, and implement projects in a comprehensive and high-quality manner.
