Quang Yen - "A magnet" attracting investment

As the locality with the most industrial parks in the province, Quang Yen town identifies attracting investment into industrial parks as a crucial solution for sustainable economic development.

Police forces in Quang Yen town are patrolling and monitoring to ensure security and order at the Song Khoai Industrial Park in Quang Yen town.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu Thuy, Deputy Head of the Finance Department of Quang Yen town, said that every year, Quang Yen develops and registers an investment promotion program along with a list of priority projects to attract investment in the area, closely following the resolutions and orientations of the province and town in socio-economic development. The town establishes working groups for investment promotion and land clearance for key projects in the area; regularly connects and monitors the progress of key projects with driving force to promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles for investors; coordinates the adjustment of zoning plans to be consistent with the adjusted town planning until 2040 and the town's land use plan for the period 2021-2030…

The town is stepping up investment in transportation infrastructure and other essential service infrastructure, such as: the Dam Nha Mac intersection project; the Ha Long Green intersection project; the connecting road project from the Ha Long - Hai Phong expressway to provincial road 331; the riverside road project connecting from the Ha Long - Hai Phong expressway to Dong Trieu city... Among these, the access road to Ben Rung bridge in Hiep Hoa commune, Quang Ninh province, has been put into operation. The town is coordinating the review of electricity and water infrastructure for industrial parks to ensure stable and synchronized supply, creating favorable conditions for industrial park infrastructure investors to attract secondary investors.

The town actively implemented land clearance for projects, especially key projects. The town organized 7 public planning meetings; held working sessions with investors and dialogues with the people to resolve difficulties and obstacles in land clearance; and urged the progress of infrastructure investment in the Nam Tien Phong, Bac Tien Phong, Song Khoai, and Bach Dang industrial parks. In 2024, the town directed and implemented land clearance for 24 projects, with a total land area of 4,334.73 hectares recovered, affecting 2,373 households and organizations; paid compensation, support, and resettlement to 752 households; and handed over 133 hectares of cleared land to investors.

Jinko Solar Vietnam Industrial Co., Ltd. (Song Khoai Industrial Park, Quang Yen Town) applies modern technology in managing security for workers entering and exiting the factory.

Administrative procedure reform continues to be strengthened. The town announced 10 procedures, reviewed, abolished, and proposed replacing 38 procedures; and publicly posted all 335 administrative procedures at the town's Public Administration Center. Training and improving the skills and quality of human resources, as well as introducing and providing labor resources to businesses, are also given attention...

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu Thuy, in 2024, Quang Yen attracted 24 foreign investment projects with a total registered investment capital of over 1,103 million USD in industrial parks in the area. For investment projects outside industrial parks, the town is continuing to closely coordinate with provincial departments and agencies, and project investors to ensure progress according to regulations; at the same time, it continues to identify and resolve difficulties in project implementation to promptly report to the province for guidance and resolution, creating the most favorable conditions for projects to be implemented and put into operation as soon as possible.
