On October 15th, the Office of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City sent a document to the Standing Committee of the City's Land Price Appraisal Council (Department of Finance), Department of Natural Resources and Environment, and Department of Information and Communications regarding "the implementation of the appraisal of the decision to adjust Decision 02/2020 regulating the land price list of Ho Chi Minh City".
Mr. Phan Van Mai, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and Chairman of the City's Land Price Appraisal Council, has instructed the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Land Price Appraisal Council (referred to as the City Land Price Appraisal Council) to urgently review the submission from the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DONRE) to finalize the report on the appraisal results of the draft decision to adjust Decision No. 02/2020, and submit it to the Chairman of the City Land Price Appraisal Council on the afternoon of October 15th.
The new land price list for Ho Chi Minh City, once issued, will have a significant impact on the people.
The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee also assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, based on the assessment results of the City's Land Price Assessment Council, to finalize the dossier (including the draft) and submit it to the Steering Committee for the construction and adjustment of the land price list for comments on the revised and supplemented land price list, and then submit it to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on the afternoon of October 16th.
Furthermore, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment must coordinate with the Department of Information and Communications to provide information on the orientation, process, and results of the drafting of the decision to amend Decision No. 02/2020, in order to disseminate this information to organizations and individuals in Ho Chi Minh City, ensuring accurate and effective information and a correct assessment of policies, regulations, and laws.
The Office of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City is coordinating with the Office of the City Party Committee to prepare the content and documents for the meeting of the Steering Committee for the construction and adjustment of land price tables.
At the same time, monitor, urge, and coordinate with the Standing Committee of the City's Land Price Appraisal Council, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, and other relevant agencies and units to promptly complete the work related to amending and supplementing the land price list in Ho Chi Minh City, in order to ensure the progress according to regulations.
Land prices in many areas will fluctuate after the new land price list is implemented.
Regarding the issue of issuing a new land price list in Ho Chi Minh City, as reported by Nguoi Dua Tin on October 14th, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City submitted Proposal No. 10487 to the City's Land Price Appraisal Council for the issuance of a Decision to adjust Decision No. 02/2020.
Accordingly, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment has proposed several options to adjust the new land price list to replace the old one. The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee also organized a broad and large-scale consultation with the public through online surveys.
