The Prime Minister has appointed Mr. Truong Hai Long as Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Interior.

Mr. Truong Hai Long was born in 1976; hometown is Yen Trung commune, Yen Phong district, Bac Ninh province. Professional qualifications: Master of Law, Senior political theory, Senior expert in State Management.

In September 2022, Mr. Truong Hai Long was appointed by the Party Central Committee to the Executive Committee and Standing Committee, holding the position of Deputy Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, and was nominated for election by the Provincial People's Council to the position of Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

On September 19, 2022, the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council held its 7th session of the 12th term and elected Mr. Truong Hai Long as Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Before being transferred to the locality, Mr. Truong Hai Long held the position of Deputy Minister of Home Affairs from June 24, 2021.

Mr. Truong Hai Long has worked at the Ministry of Interior for a long time and has held the positions of Deputy Director and Director of the Department of Civil Servants and Public Employees.
