On the morning of February 9, during his working program in Quang Ngai , Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his delegation visited the household of Mr. Tran Trung Kien in Duc Chanh commune, Mo Duc district, to inspect the implementation of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Quang Ngai province.
The Prime Minister congratulated Mr. Tran Trung Kien's family, with partial financial support from the State; the joint efforts of relatives, socio- political organizations such as the Women's Union, Youth Union, police, militia... have completed the repair to have a spacious, clean and beautiful house, helping the family live and work in peace.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated Quang Ngai province's active implementation of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses and build more than 2,100 houses for policy families and the poor with housing difficulties.
However, the Prime Minister reminded that the number of dilapidated and temporary houses in the province is still quite large, with more than 4,500 families facing housing difficulties. Therefore, Quang Ngai must continue to innovate its approach and mobilize the entire political system to implement the program more effectively.
In particular, along with the support of the State, Quang Ngai needs to strongly promote the spirit of self-reliance, self-reliance, and self-care of the people, the help of neighbors, relatives, socio-political organizations, such as youth, women, farmers, veterans, etc.
The province must call on people and businesses to participate in support with the spirit of "whoever has something to help, whoever has merit contributes, whoever has property contributes, whoever has little contributes little, whoever has much contributes much"; Quang Ngai together with the whole country will complete the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide by the end of 2025, welcoming the 14th National Congress of the Party, the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding, the 80th anniversary of National Day, the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South, and the reunification of the country.
