The vibrant flower carts are no longer a "specialty" unique to Hanoi. Now, tourists visiting Ninh Binh can easily spot similar flower carts "carrying the essence of autumn" at many tourist spots and other localities.
In recent days, the trend of taking photos with flower carts has become a sensation on many social media platforms. Capitalizing on this trend, many people have boldly brought the idea of bringing flower carts – a characteristic symbol of Hanoi's autumn – back to the ancient capital.
Ms. Pham Ut, from Hamlet 2, Yen Loc Commune, Kim Son District, said: "I saw my friends traveling all the way to Hanoi to take photos with flower floats, so I thought, why not create one like that in my hometown? Being a flower lover and having a flower shop at home, I quickly put this idea into practice."
To design the flower floats, Ms. Ut had to use more than 20 different types of flowers such as lotus, chrysanthemum, rose, sunflower, bird of paradise, etc. Under the skillful hands of the 9x flower shop owner, two flower floats were created, just as beautiful as those in Hanoi.
"The hardest part was coordinating the colors to make it look beautiful while still ensuring the bike's stability so it wouldn't tip over. Luckily, I'm a professional, so this wasn't too difficult for me," Ms. Ut said.
According to Ms. Ut, as soon as it appeared on the street, her "autumn-carrying" vehicle attracted a large number of tourists and young people to check in. On the first day, her two flower stalls welcomed more than 100 customers.

According to Ms. Minh Hue from Phat Diem town, Kim Son district, after just one day of its "launch," her flower float exceeded expectations, attracting hundreds of visitors who came to take photos and admire it. "I placed the float near the tiled bridge. This is an ideal location for tourists to both sightsee and take pictures. The flowers I used for decoration are imported and from Da Lat, so they are vibrant in color and large in size."

In addition, flower vendors also stand out in Hoa Lu Old Town, attracting many tourists who come to admire and take photos. There are three flower carts placed at different points here, drawing everyone's attention.
Ms. Dinh Thi Quynh Anh, from Khe Ha village, Ninh Xuan commune, Hoa Lu district, shared: "I reused my family's bicycle. The flowers are bought from wholesale markets, so they're quite cheap. With an investment of about 2-3 million VND, I can have a beautiful flower cart full of colors. If properly cared for, the flowers can stay fresh for about 4-5 days."
Ms. Quynh Anh added that, in addition to adhering to the general regulations of the Hoa Lu Old Town Management Board, she also enthusiastically assists with photography, providing props such as fresh flowers for hand-held use and straw bags so that tourists can get the best photos.

According to reports, the flower floats here attract a large number of tourists. People even have to queue up to wait for their turn to take photos with the vibrant flowers.
With ticket prices at 30,000 VND per person, many flower float owners are pocketing millions of VND each day. Some say that with such a positive initial response, they will maintain their flower floats through the National Day holiday on September 2nd, or even longer, to serve tourists.
Besides Hoa Lu Ancient Town, charming flower floats can also be found in Mua Cave Tourist Area and in other localities such as Yen Khanh and Yen Mo. All of them have added a romantic and vibrant touch to the streets and villages.
Flower carts on the streets are nothing new to the people of Ninh Binh . Previously, at locations like the foot of Cha La Bridge, the flower market near Rong Market, etc., one would occasionally see bicycles carrying various types of flowers from the flower vendors of Ninh Phuc and Ninh Son villages. However, the quantity of flowers was quite small, consisting mainly of simple varieties like yellow and white chrysanthemums, roses, and cockscomb.

The vibrant appearance of flower-decorated floats, characteristic of Hanoi's autumn, has brought captivating colors to the ancient capital. Under the gentle sunlight, these flower floats further enhance the romantic atmosphere of Ninh Binh's autumn, enchanting visitors.
