Standing Committee of Provincial People's Council works with Ninh Hai District People's Committee

On the morning of March 20th, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, led by Comrade Tran Minh Luc, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, worked with the Ninh Hai District People's Committee on the situation of socio-economic development in 2025 and the socio-economic results of the first quarter.

From the beginning of the year, Ninh Hai district has closely followed the motto "Unity, discipline, proactive creativity, streamlined efficiency, accelerated breakthrough," implementing comprehensive solutions to resolutely achieve the development goals for 2025. In the first quarter, socio-economic development was stable. Agricultural production maintained its growth, ensuring timely planting; some indicators of aquaculture production, seafood exploitation, salt production, etc., increased compared to the same period last year. The new rural development program was accelerated. Trade, services, and tourism experienced significant growth. The implementation of land clearance for the Ninh Thuan 2 Nuclear Power Plant project kept pace with the set schedule. Cultural and social fields received good attention and implementation. Medical examination and treatment for the people were ensured; social security policies were fully and promptly implemented. The reorganization of the structure and apparatus of specialized agencies, public service units, and special associations under the District People's Committee, in accordance with the Party's guidelines, has been carried out vigorously and effectively. Administrative discipline and order have been strengthened.

Comrade Tran Minh Luc, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, delivered the concluding remarks at the meeting.

Concluding the working session, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council highly appreciated the sense of responsibility, effort, and endeavors of the locality in implementing tasks in 2025, especially the Ninh Thuan 2 Nuclear Power Plant project. He requested the locality to continue reviewing and identifying difficulties and obstacles in the growth scenario to find timely solutions and effectively and smoothly implement socio-economic development tasks. In addition, he emphasized the importance of social welfare; security and social order, especially during the period of focusing on the nuclear power plant project. He stressed the need to prioritize the reorganization of the administrative apparatus to ensure suitability, harmony, and momentum for development, in accordance with the Party's orientation and policies. Regarding land acquisition and site clearance for the nuclear power plant project, he stressed the need for thorough review and enhanced management to ensure strict adherence to procedures and legal regulations. At the same time, we will intensify propaganda efforts to raise awareness among the local people about the significance, benefits, and safety of the nuclear power plant.
