The program, launched by the Ha Tinh Department of Industry and Trade, aims to raise awareness among the public and businesses about the government's policies and programs for developing the e-commerce market in Vietnam.

At the same time, it is necessary to promote propaganda to prevent and combat counterfeit goods in the online environment, encourage consumers to recognize and use genuine products, especially focusing on supporting products originating in Vietnam; strongly promote the synchronous use of e-commerce support solutions such as: online payment, smart delivery, affiliate marketing, social networking platforms...

Online shopping is becoming more and more popular in Vietnam in general and Ha Tinh in particular.

According to the Ha Tinh Department of Industry and Trade, the National E-commerce Week will take place from November 27, 2023 to December 3, 2023, while the 60-hour Vietnam Online Shopping Day - Online Friday 2023 will run from 0:00 on Friday, December 1, 2023 to 12:00 on December 3, 2023.

The program takes place online (https://countdown.onlinefriday.vn/) with discounts and promotions on products and services from manufacturing and distribution businesses, creating practical benefits for consumers nationwide.

The maximum value of goods and services used for promotion and the maximum discount for promotional goods and services is 100% (according to the provisions of Clause 4, Article 6 and Clause 2, Article 7 of Decree 81/2018/ND-CP dated May 22, 2018 of the Government detailing the Law on Commerce on trade promotion activities).

The program encourages businesses to use the code MUASAMVIETNAM to run promotional campaigns within their area for 60 hours, from 0:00 on December 1, 2023 to 12:00 on December 3, 2023. The promotional campaign is implemented independently by the business using the code name “MUASAMVIETNAM”.

Participation in the events of “National E-commerce Week” includes in-person and online seminars on the topic of e-commerce and digital technology ; interactive activities for consumers in the online environment; propaganda, dissemination and experience activities for consumers, businesses and management agencies.

For the program to be effectively implemented, the Department of Industry and Trade requests departments, branches and sectors; Provincial Youth Union, Provincial Women's Union, Provincial Farmers' Association; People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to coordinate in informing and propagating the program "National E-commerce Week and Vietnam Online Shopping Day - Online Friday 2023"; posting the program banner with a link to the page https://countdown.onlinefriday.vn/ on the unit's electronic information portal.

The People's Committees of districts, cities and towns connect, proactively inform and guide traders and businesses in the province to participate and accompany the activities in the program; use the program's logo (banner) in general communication and promotion activities; hang flags and streamers to welcome "National E-commerce Week" and "60 hours of Online Shopping Day Online Friday 2023".

Enterprises and production and business establishments proactively organize promotional activities, coordinate and participate in program activities to ensure compliance with legal regulations and protect the legitimate rights of consumers; participate in live and online seminars on e-commerce and digital technology within the framework of the program.

Citizens and consumers in the province can access the website https://countdown.onlinefriday.vn/ and the Online Friday mobile application to get information about promotions and discounts from participating businesses and to shop at the businesses' websites and applications.
