The exhibition showcases design works and tells the story of Italian culinary history through the fascinating perspectives of its creators. It was curated by Massimo Montanari, Professor of Food History at the University of Bologna, and Laura Lazzaroni, a renowned food writer.
The exhibition not only focuses on dishes and cooking methods but also gives visitors a comprehensive overview of the agricultural and livestock industries; the diversity of food, environmental and health challenges in the culinary industry, and many other interesting perspectives surrounding Italian cuisine and culture.
"The Taste of Italy is not just a story about food, but about life, love, and the spirit of sharing. We want to bring a wonderful experience, not only for the senses but also for the heart and soul of everyone." – quoted from the exhibition's creator.
The exhibition will not only be a showcase of unique and eye-catching works of art, but also a multifaceted source of information, a journey of discovery through the history, culture, and spirit of the Italian people.
With the 8th Italian Food Week in Vietnam themed "Enjoying Italian Cuisine: Flavors Elevated with Healthy Ingredients," the Italian Embassy aims to share information and knowledge about the nutritious and healthy Mediterranean cuisine with the community, as well as promote the diversity of Italian culinary culture to food lovers and those who appreciate cultural experiences.
The exhibition is open to the public from 10 am to 6 pm daily, from November 15th to 22nd.
