According to the report on provincial-level digital transformation recently published by the Ministry of Science and Technology , Hanoi has risen to first place for the first time, demonstrating a spectacular change compared to previous years. This is clearly marked by the development of the digital economy and digital society.

Housing prices, especially for apartments, have remained high for the first three quarters of 2025, exceeding the affordability of most people, a pressing issue in the current real estate market. The National Housing Fund is expected to be one solution to "cool down" housing prices. In addition, experts believe that other solutions are needed to balance supply and demand in the real estate market.

In the face of global challenges such as climate change, energy crisis, resource depletion, and environmental pollution, science, technology, and innovation are being affirmed as key drivers for development, and as the key to realizing the goals of green transformation and sustainable development.

For Vietnam, this is not only an inevitable trend but also a strategic choice, concretized by national resolutions, action programs, and laws, in which science, technology, and innovation are placed at the center of all development policies.

Hoang Trong Phu and OCOP today

The stalls selling silk, ceramics, and lacquerware at 176 Quang Trung Street (Ha Dong, Hanoi), showcasing OCOP (One Commune One Product) products, evoke a familiar image from over a century ago. At that time, Governor-General Hoang Trong Phu created "stages" for craft villages: organizing workshops, establishing showrooms, holding exhibitions, and bringing handicraft products to market. The story of OCOP today seems to still bear the imprint of his influence.
