On the morning of June 1, the Provincial Youth Union, the Council of Young Pioneers, the Provincial Youth and Children's Center organized the Children's Festival - Opening summer activities and celebrating International Children's Day June 1.

The Children's Festival is an annual activity, part of a series of summer activities directed by the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee to organize for children. At the Festival, more than 400 children participated in many interesting activities such as art performances, Shaolin martial arts performances, Taekwondo; painting contest and painting exhibition with the theme "Pride of a country"; interacting with foreign teachers; participating in folk games, puzzles, catch-the-word games...

The program has provided a useful and healthy playground for children to interact and participate in cultural, artistic, physical education, sports and health training activities. Thereby, promoting the spirit of solidarity and creativity, arousing pride, determination to compete in studying and training, striving to become good children, good students, good team members, good children of Uncle Ho.

Also within the framework of the Festival, leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Provincial Youth Union, and the People's Committee of Ninh Binh City presented gifts to children; the Provincial Youth Center presented free swimming tickets and badminton boxes to children in difficult circumstances on the occasion of International Children's Day, June 1.
