Organizing the 2024 Workers-Farmers-Soldiers Mass Arts Festival

The Quang Binh Provincial Workers-Farmers-Soldiers Mass Art Festival is held every two years; it brings together outstanding individuals from the grassroots mass art movement and always receives enthusiastic support and encouragement from a large number of officials and people in various units and localities.

The performance showcased the youthful energy of Dong Hoi City.

The 2024 Workers-Farmers-Soldiers Mass Art Festival, themed "The Heroic Epic Resounds Forever," is an opportunity to widely disseminate and educate all levels of local people, especially cadres, soldiers of the armed forces, union members, youth, students, and pupils, about the glorious revolutionary traditions of the Party Committee, army, and people of Quang Binh in the process of protecting and building the homeland and the country.

At the same time, the Festival also expresses the affection and devotion of the people of Quang Binh province to the glorious Party and the great President Ho Chi Minh; it awakens national pride and the fine traditions of the homeland. It honors and promotes revolutionary traditions, affirming the great achievements of the Party Committee and the people of the province throughout the revolutionary periods, especially after 35 years of the province's re-establishment (1989-2019).

Recreating scenes of life and combat of the soldiers and people of Quang Binh, along with the rest of the country, fighting against the US to save the nation.

Mr. Ha Quoc Phong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Quang Binh province, shared: "The festival is not only about evaluating the results of cultural and artistic activities of localities and units, but also an opportunity for amateur art troupes from localities and units to learn and exchange experiences in order to further improve the quality and effectiveness of cultural and artistic activities at the grassroots level."

The cultural performances were elaborately staged by the participating groups.

We believe that, through the songs, dances, and performances of the actors, the festival will bring unique artistic programs and performances. These will be the most beautiful flowers to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day," said the Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Quang Binh province.

According to Mr. Ha Quoc Phong, the performances in this festival have a high degree of artistic cohesion, creating an emotional and impressive program. The music has seen innovations in harmony and arrangement, and the vocal groups and choirs have received attention in terms of vocal arrangements.

Leaders of the Department of Culture and Sports of Quang Binh province presented the outstanding performance award to the Quang Trach delegation (Quang Binh).

The Organizing Committee awarded 15 A prizes, 20 B prizes, and 15 C prizes to outstanding performances. Regarding the overall team awards: The Outstanding Award went to the Quang Trach District amateur art troupe, first prize to the Dong Hoi City troupe, second prize to the Department of Education and Training troupe, and third prize to the Ba Don Town and Quang Ninh District troupes.
