Attending the ceremony were Ms. Tran Thi Huyen Thanh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Council of Dong Hung Thuan Ward, along with ward leaders, representatives from specialized departments and agencies, political and social organizations, the Ward Police Command, the Ward Military Command, Party committees, heads of residential areas, and a large number of residents.
Accordingly, the Ward People's Committee established two "Public Service Support Points in Residential Areas," including the Office of Neighborhood 46 and the Joint Office of Neighborhoods 79-82-84. At the same time, the ward launched a team to advise, guide, and support residents in carrying out online administrative procedures; handed over two computer sets to Neighborhood 46 and the Joint Office of Neighborhoods 79-82-84, along with one computer set to the Community Learning Center to support the dissemination of digital skills to children.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Nguyen Duy Hung Ward requested the Public Administrative Service Center to continue improving the quality of service and promoting the application of digital technology in resolving administrative procedures; paying special attention to supporting the elderly, vulnerable people, and those who are not yet proficient in information technology.
The implementation of this model aims to enhance support for citizens and businesses in using online public services on the National Public Service Portal; to spread the "Digital Literacy Movement," bringing digital skills to every household. This is also an important shift in administrative thinking, from a "government that manages" to a "government that serves," proactively reaching out to citizens to promptly resolve difficulties in the process of carrying out administrative procedures.
According to Le Duy Giap, Chief of the Office of the People's Council and People's Committee of Dong Hung Thuan Ward, in parallel with the new model, the ward is effectively operating two other models aimed at best serving the people and creating maximum convenience in carrying out administrative procedures.

In recent times, the ward has focused on innovating service methods and significantly improving civil registration procedures. A key highlight is shortening the processing time for marital status confirmation procedures from three days to just one working day. This improvement was achieved through the application of civil registration management software and enhanced coordination between specialized departments, resulting in a reduction in processing time for 1,001 out of 1,047 applications.
In addition, the ward has implemented a "death registration at home" model. Residents only need to contact the ward by phone or through their neighborhood, and the civil registry officer will come to their home to provide guidance, collect information, and the ward People's Committee will deliver the death certificate. From July 1, 2025 to the present, the ward has assisted 21 out of 201 cases using this method, contributing to reducing the pressure on the "One-Stop" service center and providing better support for families during this difficult time.
With its flexible and people-oriented approach, the "Support for Public Services in Residential Areas" model, along with other models for improving administrative procedures, is expected to bring practical results, contributing to building a modern, professional administration and better serving the needs of people in Dong Hung Thuan ward.
