Trnava City, Slovakia, and Ha Tinh City strengthen cooperation for mutual development.

Leaders of the Trnava Autonomous Region Government - Republic of Slovakia hope that in the future, the relationship between Trnava city and Ha Tinh city will become even better, with cooperation and connection in many fields.

On the afternoon of December 1st, a delegation from the Trnava Autonomous Region of the Slovak Republic, led by its Chairman, Jozep Vikupic, held a working session with the People's Committee of Ha Tinh City to learn about the socio -economic situation and development characteristics of the locality.

A general overview of the working session.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hieu, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh City, provided information on the characteristics, socio-economic situation, and future development orientation of the locality. Accordingly, the growth rate of the city in the first 11 months of 2023 reached 11.9%. Ha Tinh City currently has more than 3,000 enterprises and nearly 11,000 business households; attracting more than 78 domestic and foreign investment projects with a total registered capital of over 14,000 billion VND.

Currently, the city has 56 schools, with educational quality leading the entire province. The city boasts 28 historical and cultural relics, including 2 national-level relics. As the economic, political , and cultural center of the province, Ha Tinh city has many advantages, especially in terms of high-quality human resources.

The city's development orientation is towards green growth. In the future, with its expanded administrative boundaries, Ha Tinh city will actively attract investment to develop the marine economy, the circular economy, high-tech industrial zones associated with environmental protection, promote trade and services, and improve the living standards and income of its people.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh City emphasized: With many similarities between the two localities, we hope that through this visit by the delegation, the relationship between Ha Tinh province and the Trnava region in general, and between Ha Tinh city and Trnava city in particular, will take a new step forward, and businesses in the Trnava region will have more opportunities to seek investment opportunities in Ha Tinh.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Jozep Vikupic, Chairman of the Trnava region, affirmed: During this working visit to Ha Tinh, the Provincial People's Committee and the Trnava regional government signed a cooperation agreement with specific contents in many fields. He believes that this signing will also bring value and benefits to Ha Tinh city specifically.

Mr. Jozep Vikupic provided further information on the geographical characteristics, socio-economic development, and advantageous sectors of the Trnava region and Trnava city in particular. He also emphasized that this visit aims to foster cooperation not only between the Trnava region and Ha Tinh province but also between Ha Tinh city and Trnava city (part of the Trnava region) in various fields. He especially hopes to establish connections between businesses in the two localities, as well as promote exchange and cooperation in education and culture.

During the meeting, representatives from both localities also discussed and exchanged information on areas such as budget revenue, labor characteristics, population, and cultural traditions.
