The Pho Day Festival 2025 with the theme "Raising the level of Vietnamese rice - Spreading to five continents" will take place on December 13 and 14 at the Tax Trade Center (old), 135 Nguyen Hue, Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
There will be more than 30 pho stalls with many famous brands from North to South such as Pho H'Mong Ha Giang (noodles made from corn kernels), Pho Nho Pho Nui (Pleiku) or commonly known as Pho Hai To, Lac Hong Pho (Nam Dinh) or notably the presence of the Vietnamese Pho brand in Seoul, Korea (Pho Khoe).
The information was shared by the Organizing Committee of Pho Day 2025 - the 9th time at the press conference announcing the program on the morning of December 4 at Tuoi Tre Newspaper Office.
According to the organizers, the festival is expected to serve more than 20,000 bowls of pho during the two days of the event and attract about 100,000 visitors. Each bowl of pho at the event is sold for 40,000 VND.
When asked whether the uniform price of 40,000 VND/bowl can guarantee quality, pho restaurant owners attending the press conference affirmed that this price is still enough to bring diners a delicious bowl of pho, with the standard flavor of each brand.
Meanwhile, Journalist Tran Xuan Toan, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Newspaper, said that the price of 40,000 VND is much lower than the market price, but this is a symbolic price to create an opportunity for everyone to enjoy pho during the festival.
He also shared that the organizers hope that with this price, diners will easily enjoy many different pho brands when coming to the festival, thereby fully experiencing the diversity of the national dish.

Pho Day is supported and coordinated by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Cultural Diplomacy - Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Trade Promotion - Ministry of Industry and Trade , the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City and the Vietnam Culinary Culture Association for many consecutive years with the companionship of Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company.
The program was initiated from an initial initiative in 2017 and December 12 was officially recognized as "Pho Day" since 2018. Entering its 9th year, Pho Day continues to pursue its great goal: to make pho a world intangible cultural heritage. This journey is told through the story of rice grains, pho noodles and the unique values that the dish carries in the fields of culture, cuisine, diplomacy and economy.
Recently, in coordination with the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore, the "Vietnam Pho Festival" event was held in the lion island nation on October 18 and 19, attracting more than 35,000 visitors to visit and enjoy typical Vietnamese pho dishes.
The organizers said they will allocate at least 10% of pho sales revenue during the two days of the event, along with the cooperation of readers and accompanying units, to send to people in areas heavily affected by storms and floods in Dak Lak province (formerly Phu Yen).

Many people ate pho for breakfast at the "Vietnam Pho Festival" held in Singapore.
