On December 4, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Deputy Head of Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department, said that this agency has just sent an urgent notice to the business community and taxpayers about adjusting the working schedule at the headquarters.

Specifically, on December 13, Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department temporarily stopped receiving visitors and directly receiving taxpayers' documents at its headquarters at 63 Vu Tong Phan (Binh Trung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) to serve the construction, repair and replacement plan of the ATS2 electrical cabinet system at the headquarters building.

On December 13, Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department temporarily stopped receiving direct applications at its headquarters at 63 Vu Tong Phan (Binh Trung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

According to Mr. Dung, this is a mandatory technical maintenance activity, aiming to ensure the safety and stability of the tax authority's operating infrastructure in the coming time. Direct document reception activities are expected to return to normal as soon as the technical work is completed.

To avoid unnecessary inconveniences during the administrative procedure, Mr. Dung recommends that individuals, organizations and the business community proactively arrange their work plans and avoid conducting direct transactions at the above address during the maintenance period.
