TPO - On New Year's Eve this year, Hue will organize 4 high-altitude fireworks displays to celebrate the New Year in the city center and districts and towns.

By the afternoon of January 28 (December 29), preparations for fireworks to celebrate the New Year's Eve of the Year of the Snake 2025 had been completed by functional departments of the Hue City Military Command.

In recent days, dozens of officers and soldiers of the Hue City Military Command have been urgently preparing for the New Year's Eve fireworks display taking place on the night of the 29th and early morning of the 1st day of the Lunar New Year.

The artillery vehicles have been assembled at the firing position. The wiring system, connecting accessories, operating and command houses have been installed. The firing area has been specifically identified, ensuring safety and efficiency when the fireworks are fired.

As every year, the fireworks display area at Ky Dai relic is identified as the central point of Hue city, serving tourists and residents of Thuan Hoa and Phu Xuan districts. Here, the authorities will launch 1,000 high-altitude fireworks and 1,000 low-altitude fireworks to celebrate the New Year of the Snake.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Le Xuan Sanh - Commander of Phu Xuan District Military Command, the preparation and organization of fireworks display at Ky Dai area is identified as an important task. With high determination, the preparation work was completed on the morning of the 29th of Tet, ready to serve the people to fully enjoy the beautiful and emotional fireworks displays at the moment of welcoming the new year of At Ty.

On New Year's Eve this year, in addition to the Ky Dai area (Phu Xuan district), Hue city will also organize fireworks displays in Phong Dien town, with 400 high-altitude fireworks and 500 low-altitude fireworks. In Phu Loc and A Luoi districts, each locality will fire 300 high-altitude fireworks and 500 low-altitude fireworks; the display will last about 15 minutes.

Colonel Phan Thang - Commander of Hue City Military Command, affirmed that in order for the fireworks display to be successful, spectacular and ensure absolute safety for the participating forces and people, the unit has deployed each stage and step in a strict and scientific manner; each stage is checked very carefully and thoughtfully, then the fireworks are installed in the gun barrels.

100% of officers and soldiers participating in the fireworks display to celebrate the New Year's Eve of the Year of the Snake 2025 in Hue have been trained and certified by the Ministry of National Defense.
