Presenting 2,013 gifts to people in Ban Dong cluster, Sepon district, Savannakhet province, Laos

Today, February 10, the Provincial Border Guard coordinated with the local government to support and organize the giving of thousands of gifts to disadvantaged households in Ban Dong cluster, Sepon district, Laos.

In 2023, due to the general economic difficulties, the lives of people in the Vietnam - Laos border area were affected. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year - 2024, on February 10, the Quang Tri Border Guard coordinated with local authorities to organize the presentation of 2,013 gifts worth 600 million VND to people in Ban Dong cluster, Sepon district, Laos.

Previously, on February 9, at Lao Bao international border gate, Quang Tri province, Lao Bao town People's Committee coordinated with Lao Bao International Border Gate Border Guard Station to organize gift distribution to support ethnic minorities in the Vietnam-Laos border area with difficult circumstances to return home for Tet.
