Awarding 360 Nguyen Hue scholarships on the first day of spring

The Nguyen Hue Scholarship Fund organizing committee has awarded 360 scholarships to students, undergraduates, and postgraduate students from Tay Son District (Binh Dinh Province) to encourage learning and the development of local education .

On the 4th day of the Lunar New Year (February 1st), Tay Son District (Binh Dinh Province) held a meeting and awarded 360 scholarships (total value of 527 million VND) from the Nguyen Hue Scholarship Fund to postgraduate students, undergraduates, and high school students from the district who are studying at universities, high schools, and junior high schools nationwide and have achieved excellent academic results in the 2024-2025 school year.

Mr. Bui Van My, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Son District and Chairman of the Management Board of the Nguyen Hue Scholarship Fund, presented scholarships to students.

Specifically, there are 3 scholarships awarded to doctoral students, each worth 10 million VND; 5 scholarships awarded to junior and senior high school students who won second and third prizes at the provincial level, each worth 3 million VND; 4 scholarships awarded to valedictorians of high school graduation and 3 valedictorians of the entrance exam to grade 10 in the 2024-2025 school year, each worth 2 million VND; and 63 scholarships for university graduates with excellent or outstanding academic performance, each worth 3 million VND.

In addition, 27 scholarships worth 1 million VND each will be awarded to students who achieved the "5 Good Students" title in the 2024-2025 academic year and 255 students who achieved excellent or outstanding grades in the 2023-2024 academic year.

Since its establishment in November 2023, the Nguyen Hue Scholarship Fund has raised 620 million VND and organized its first scholarship awarding ceremony in the spring of 2024, awarding 145 scholarships totaling 250 million VND. In 2024, the Nguyen Hue Scholarship Fund continued to raise 987 million VND, bringing the total fund to over 1.3 billion VND.

The Nguyen Hue Scholarship Fund operates with the aim of encouraging and honoring students, undergraduates, and postgraduate students from Tay Son District.

The Nguyen Hue Scholarship Fund operates on a non-profit basis, aiming to encourage, support, and award scholarships to honor high-achieving students from Tay Son District studying at junior and senior high schools in the district, public universities nationwide, postgraduate students, and students studying abroad.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Bui Van My, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Son District and Chairman of the Management Board of the Nguyen Hue Scholarship Fund, called on all sectors of the district's population, Tay Son natives living and working both domestically and abroad, businesses, and philanthropists to continue to show interest in and support the cause of nurturing talent and promoting learning and talent development, building a sustainable learning society in Tay Son District.
