At the ceremony, the "For the Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa" Club awarded 90 scholarships (each worth 1 million VND) to students from disadvantaged fishing families who have strived to excel in their studies, from the three districts of Binh Dai, Thanh Phu, and Ba Tri in Ben Tre province. In addition, the organizers awarded three "Circle of Compassion" scholarships to three students with exceptionally difficult circumstances and outstanding academic achievements.
Ms. Truong My Hoa stated that the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and the Club for the Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa Islands have actively campaigned and attracted more benefactors to participate, thereby increasing the fund and enabling more students to receive scholarships so they can attend school. Ms. Truong My Hoa expressed her hope that these scholarships will give the students more strength to pursue their dreams, conquer new heights of knowledge, and become worthy of being good children and excellent students.
Currently, Ben Tre province has 15 disadvantaged students from coastal areas who are supported by the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund in the "Investing in Human Resources" project, aiming to help them continue their education at higher levels by enrolling in colleges and universities.
