(HTV) - To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country, a delegation from Ho Chi Minh City, led by Comrade Nguyen Huu Hiep, visited and presented gifts to express gratitude to the officers and soldiers who participated in the Great Victory of Spring 1975 in Binh Thanh District.
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on the morning of April 27, a delegation from Ho Chi Minh City, led by Comrade Nguyen Huu Hiep, Standing Committee member of the City Party Committee and Secretary of the Thu Duc City Party Committee, visited and presented gifts to express gratitude to the cadres, soldiers, and those who directly participated in the Great Victory of Spring 1975, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country in Binh Thanh District.
The Ho Chi Minh City delegation was led by Comrade Nguyen Huu Hiep, Standing Committee member of the City Party Committee and Secretary of the Thu Duc City Party Committee, Ho Chi Minh City.
Comrade Nguyen Huu Hiep and his delegation visited the families of soldiers Tran Kim Hung, Cao Xuan Tuy, and Nguyen Xuan Quy, who are currently residing in Binh Thanh District. These are exemplary individuals who participated in the revolution and directly took part in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign, contributing to the Great Victory of Spring 1975, liberating the South and unifying the country.
At the families' homes, Comrade Nguyen Huu Hiep, on behalf of the City Party Committee, the City People's Council, the City People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, cordially extended wishes for good health, expressed profound gratitude, and conveyed immense appreciation for the contributions of the comrades to making Ho Chi Minh City what it is today.
Comrade Nguyen Huu Hiep also expressed his wish that the comrades would always keep the revolutionary flame burning brightly, continuing to be a source of inspiration for the younger generation to follow in terms of resilience, bravery, and always dedicating and sacrificing themselves for the country and the Fatherland.
