In response to the directive from the Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee regarding proactive response to Typhoon No. 6 and floods, today, October 26th, the Provincial Military Command organized a conference to deploy measures for typhoon prevention and control for agencies and units.

At the same time, the Provincial Military Command directed the military commands of districts, towns, cities, and subordinate units to closely coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to proactively monitor the situation and developments of the storm.
Providing timely information, advising, and implementing storm prevention measures according to the "four on-the-spot" principle. Organizing forces to strengthen propaganda, recommendations, and guidance for fishermen to safely take shelter from storms, as well as taking measures to ensure the safety of boats in anchorage areas.
Agencies and units should inspect, review, and implement storm and flood prevention and response plans at all levels; prepare forces, materials, equipment, and means, and ensure logistical reserves as prescribed. Special attention should be paid to areas at high risk of storms, floods, and landslides in mountainous regions, and flooding in low-lying areas.
When the storm hits, 100% of agencies and units are on 24/7 standby, deploying regular troops, militia, and reserve forces to make thorough preparations, proactively ensuring that vehicles, ships, and boats are ready to participate in search and rescue operations when necessary, guaranteeing safety at all times.
According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, Typhoon No. 6 (international name TRAMI) is predicted to be strong and have a very complex trajectory.
Given the unpredictable developments of Typhoon No. 6, in order to promptly prepare for and respond to potential typhoons and floods in the province, contributing to minimizing damage to people and property of the State and the people.
