Deploying "Swimming Apprentice - Accompanying Anh Vien for a Vietnam without drowning children" in Can Tho

(CT) - On the morning of September 13, in Can Tho City, the program "Apprentice swimmer - Accompanying Anh Vien for a Vietnam without drowning children" took place.

More than 500 students under 15 years old in Can Tho city participated in the program. They were taught basic knowledge and skills to ensure safety in the water environment, the causes, risks and ways to prevent and combat drowning when participating in swimming. At the same time, they practiced swimming skills under the guidance of former national swimmer Nguyen Thi Anh Vien and her colleagues. Through the program, the students were equipped with knowledge on how to swim properly, safely, inspired, disciplined and aspired to excel.

The program was launched by Tay Do Steel Company Limited in coordination with former athlete Nguyen Thi Anh Vien in 7 provinces and cities: Can Tho City, Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Thap, An Giang, Lam Dong, Tay Ninh, Gia Lai.

The "trainee swimmers" are eager to learn to swim.

Students participating in the program received gifts from the Organizing Committee.
