Last October, the Department of Education and Training of Hung Yen province completed the digital transformation guidance for more than 340 thousand middle and high school students. Mr. Nguyen Phuc Hien, Deputy Director of the Department, said: This is a meaningful activity to concretize Decision No. 628 of the Provincial People's Committee on the digital transformation task by 2025; at the same time, it is an important step in realizing the digital transformation plan of the education sector, contributing to making Hung Yen a bright spot in educational innovation.
Previously, in September, the provincial education sector organized training for more than 20,000 primary and secondary school officials and teachers on the use of artificial intelligence (AI). This is one of the key activities of the provincial education sector to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on the orientation of science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation. AI is proving to play an important role in many aspects of education, from designing, organizing teaching and learning activities, testing and assessment to reducing administrative work, creating conditions for teachers to focus more on their expertise.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hung Yen province is one of the leading organizations in the country in operating the "Digital Front" platform. Currently, the unit has digitized all synthesis and reporting work. All periodic reports and quick reports on natural disaster prevention and emergency events are done online, helping to reduce 65% - 70% of time, limit errors and quantify about 75% of activities. Grassroots staff update and send reports directly on their phones, reducing costs, saving time, and helping the provincial level monitor and urge progress promptly.

Mr. Dao Xuan Dung, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province said: The synthesis results are stored on the drive system, convenient for searching, serving the work of consulting and reporting.
The unit closely coordinates with localities to regularly apply Google Forms to survey public opinion and grasp basic information. In addition, the front system operates the digital data platform of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (https://csdl.mattranso.vn/), ensuring connectivity between the provincial and grassroots levels, updating data weekly. Hung Yen is currently in the top 3 localities nationwide in implementing the "Digital Front" platform.
On October 29, for the first time, the Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the National Data Association to organize the Science-Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Forum with the theme "Data Economy, Promoting Innovation and Sustainable Development". This is the first provincial-level Forum nationwide focusing on data economy. Here, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation, in which they agreed that within 90 days, 10 Cooperatives will use the NDA Trace platform; 200 tourism businesses will participate in Visit Hung Yen; 100% of departments and branches will have a focal point in charge of data; 2 IOC operating boards will be put into trial operation and within 180 days, 50 data sets will be publicly opened on the provincial data portal; SOC Center (Viettel/VNPT) will operate 24/7; publish a report assessing the impact of data in public administration and services.
Mr. Pham Van Nghiem, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, shared: We want digital transformation activities to have specific results, so at the forum, a very clear and practical timeline was given. Along with that, the local government has launched a virtual assistant platform to support and interact in handling work.
In the coming time, Hung Yen will continue to improve the province's digital infrastructure and shared data platform; develop data centers, innovation centers and digital startups. In addition, promote the application of Big Data and artificial intelligence (AI) in state management, production, trade and services. Develop incentive mechanisms and prioritize innovative enterprises; make digital transformation and data economy become the key driving force in the province's socio-economic development strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
