The Nursing Center for Meritorious People is interested in implementing policies for war invalids and sick soldiers.

The Center for Nursing for the Meritorious (Phong Chau Ward) is currently managing and caring for 28 wounded and sick soldiers with a disability rate of 81% or higher. To ensure the health of the subjects, the Center's leaders have directed the professional department, officers and civil servants to strengthen health checks, regularly collect samples, and arrange staff to serve wounded and sick soldiers for examination and treatment at hospitals.

Accordingly, since the beginning of the year, the Center has organized 40 trips to pick up and drop off more than 140 wounded and sick soldiers for medical examination and treatment at hospitals. The Center has paid correctly and fully all types of allowances, regular preferential regimes, and gifts from the President to wounded and sick soldiers on the occasion of major holidays, with a total amount of more than 1.7 billion VND.

In addition, in carrying out the task of providing rotational nursing care for war invalids and sick soldiers, the Center has proactively contacted localities to arrange for the pick-up and drop-off of subjects for nursing care according to assigned targets. Up to now, the Center has organized 2 sessions, with 120 war invalids and sick soldiers coming for nursing care, reaching 16% of the plan. After each nursing session, the health and spirit of war invalids and sick soldiers are significantly improved, thereby helping those with meritorious services to continue living happily, healthily, living long, living usefully, and inspiring the younger generation to continue the Party's revolutionary cause.
