Aiming for patient satisfaction
As one of the pioneers in the field of digital transformation in the healthcare sector, Son Tra Regional Medical Center is interested in investing in smart technology, applying it in practice to improve the efficiency of management and operation of medical examination and treatment, helping people benefit from high-quality medical services.
The deployment of “Smart Medical Kiosk”, online appointment scheduling software at the center allows patients to register for medical examination and treatment using chip-embedded citizen identification cards, VNeID and facial recognition.
The center also organizes smart patient flow, authenticates identity with social insurance data, takes queue numbers and makes payment for examination registration fees right at the Kiosks... Thereby, helping to minimize paper procedures and reduce patient waiting time.
From July 2024 to present, the number of medical examinations and treatments using citizen identification cards has reached more than 89.6% (a total of more than 374,340 admissions).
This is also one of the first medical units in the city to operate smart payment using QR codes; increasing the rate of cashless payments to 74%, ensuring transparency and convenience in transactions.
In addition, the connection of driver health examination data and online driver license issuance and renewal at level 4, along with the integration of electronic health books, has optimized the medical examination and treatment process at the center.
Since its implementation, the number of driver health examination certificates has been more than 5,840 times.
