According to the UEH Admissions Council, for the 2023 regular university admissions season, UEH will implement early admission methods including: Admission for candidates who have graduated from foreign high school programs and have international certificates; admission for excellent students (Excellent Student Program); admission based on academic performance according to subject combinations (Subject Combination Program); and admission based on the results of the aptitude test organized by the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City in the first round of 2023 (Aptitude Test Program).
This year, the cutoff scores for 51 training programs in Ho Chi Minh City (school code KSA) range from 47-77 points for the Excellent Student Program and the Combined Subject Program, and from 800-985 for the Competency Assessment Program. At UEH - Vinh Long Campus (school code KSV), the score ranges are from 40-48 and 550-600 respectively.

According to the UEH Admissions Council, the overall average admission scores in 2023 increased steadily compared to 2022. This demonstrates an improvement in the quality of incoming students, meeting the necessary conditions in the university's strategy for training high-quality human resources.
In particular, the admission scores for Business English, Economic Law, and International Business Law programs increased significantly compared to 2022, reflecting a trend towards professions closely linked to internationalization. Notably, Political Economy, which is being offered as an independent program for the first time, also has a relatively high admission score compared to many other traditional majors.
Simultaneously, programs in the technology field, especially those enrolling for the first time, have received a large number of applications, aligning with the university's multidisciplinary training strategy focused on applied technology in various fields such as Data Science, Software Engineering, E-commerce, Digital Communication and Multimedia Design; Financial Technology, Marketing Technology, Logistics Technology (engineering program), Digital Business, Robotics Engineering and Artificial Intelligence (5 new programs enrolling in 2023).
The ASEAN Co-op Bachelor's program (training that connects theory with practice and an international environment in ASEAN countries) attracted a large number of applications for its first enrollment. The admission score for this program was very high, matching the standard score of the ISB BBUS talent bachelor's program, which has already established its brand and quality over a long period.
The UEH Admissions Council further stated that, in addition to the 51 training programs already announced, this year the university will recruit students based on the 2023 high school graduation exam scores for three new majors in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology, focusing on applied, multidisciplinary, and multi-field integration.
The UEH Admissions Council notes that candidates who have been notified by UEH that they meet the admission score requirements must register their application preferences on the Ministry of Education and Training's (MOET) Admissions Portal from July 10, 2023 to 5:00 PM on July 30, 2023.
