The school's scientific integrity team (called the working group) with 7 members was established by the decision of Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dang Thoai (vice principal) on October 28 with the task of reviewing the contents related to Article 8, Law No. 93 of the Law on Science, Technology, and Innovation 2025; Article 4, Article 6 of Decree 262/2025/ND-CP to ensure compliance with regulations on scientific integrity in research and training activities.

Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine established a scientific integrity team, but two members have withdrawn.
The review period of the team is 30 working days from the date of announcement of the decision.
However, after the decision was issued, one member of the scientific integrity team asked permission not to participate in the working group for the reason of ensuring absolute objectivity and transparency; the other person asked to withdraw for personal reasons.
Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine has recently attracted public attention regarding its doctoral entrance exam. Candidate Au Nhat Huy (24 years old) was admitted to the doctoral program in internal medicine with the second highest score.
Candidate Au Nhat Huy submitted 8 articles, including: 5 articles published in domestic magazines and 3 articles published in international magazines.
After the review process, an international article in this candidate's profile was withdrawn from an international journal, causing the research score to decrease, but the admission result of this PhD student remained unchanged.
