(NLDO)- The Head of the Central Propaganda Department suggested that Lilama 2 International Technology College should focus on training human resources to serve Long Thanh airport.

On the morning of November 4, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia attended the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year at Lilama 2 International Technology College (Lilama 2 School). At the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Khanh Cuong, Principal of Lilama 2 International Technology College, said that since its establishment in 1986, the school has affirmed its position, brand, and reputation in theeducation and vocational training system in Vietnam, contributing to training highly skilled human resources...

In the past 10 years, the staff, teachers and civil servants have been focused on investing in in-depth development with 203 people, including 137 permanent teachers, 100% of lecturers are trained in international vocational pedagogy methods.

To date, the school has trained nearly 7,000 high-quality technicians, nearly 800 students of practical engineering; retrained and advanced trained more than 40,000 people from domestic and foreign enterprises, and trained more than 1,100 people who changed careers due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the 2023-2024 school year, more than 1,000 secondary and college students will graduate with a 96% employment rate.

Talking about the strategic vision to 2030, Mr. Nguyen Khanh Cuong affirmed that the school will continue to build and strive to become an excellent vocational training center of the country and become a regional practice center to build a center towards G20 standards.
