All three artists: Tu Trinh, Kieu Phuong Loan, My Chi, trained in the Cai Luong stage actor class of the Saigon National School of Music and Drama (now Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music), had the opportunity to review the brilliant days of their youth on the artistic path.
The rare reunion brings the audience back to a golden age, where the three female students of that year carried within them a dream of the stage and their hearts fluttered with every beat of the drum and every verse of vọng cổ.
"One step to the main actress" and the "maid" friend from years ago
In the reminiscence, artist Tu Trinh - who later became a familiar face in drama and voiceover - emotionally recalled a humorous and professional truth: My Chi and Kieu Phuong Loan were originally children of theater troupe leaders, so since their school days they were given the opportunity to play the leading female roles.
As for artist Tu Trinh, although coming from an artistic family, at that time she only took on supporting roles, sometimes even the role of a quiet, patient maid, but it was also the foundation for her to practice her profession and nurture her perseverance with the stage.
The story is told with both laughter and contemplation. From those different starting points, the three have written three very unique and precious artistic journeys.

Artist Kieu Phuong Loan sings the song "Stone Tears"
A voice that silenced the audience
The most touching moment for the audience was when artist Kieu Phuong Loan sang "Stone Tears" by musician Tran Trinh and poet Ha Huyen Chi. With her smooth, narrative voice, she created a nostalgic atmosphere, making those present feel like they could hear the breath of youth returning.
Artist Kieu Phuong Loan conveyed her love for her profession and the stage – the energy that has made her one of the rare artists who shine in both drama and reformed opera – to the audience that day.
On the Kim Cuong stage, the role of Tanhia made Kieu Phuong Loan an impressive face of Southern drama. As for Cai Luong, the peak of her career was the role of Queen in the play "The Legend of Love", an emotional performance alongside the late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh (as Phi Cat) - a pair of actors who always left a deep impression on the audience.

Artist Tu Trinh recited a short passage in the role of Miss Ba "the devil" - the play "The durian leaf" - her famous role on the Kim Cuong stage.
Three paths – one unchanging love of the stage
After leaving school, each artist went their separate ways: Tu Trinh chose drama, then became deeply attached to the field of voice-over, leaving her mark through hundreds of television and film roles in which she lent her voice.
My Chi became a charming and famous female comedian through the show "Indoors and Outdoors", bringing laughter to millions of families.
Kieu Phuong Loan continues to work in both fields and has achieved rare achievements. But sitting together today, in their tight handshakes and seemingly endless stories, the audience sees in them one thing in common: the love for the Cai Luong stage and the fire that has lit up each of their artistic lives.
A meaningful reunion
The meeting ended, but its echoes and Kieu Phuong Loan's voice, My Chi's laughter, and Tu Trinh's nostalgic eyes still lingered in the audience's hearts.
It is the reunion of three once-famous artists, the return of a time when the stage was lit up with brilliantly talented artists.

Meritorious Artist and singer Hong Van said: "That is a generation of stage artists who were well-trained, serious and lived fully with their profession. This reunion reminds us that, although times have changed, although the stage has been quiet many times, the people who have stood on it, have shed sweat and tears for it and still keep a corner of the bright youth sky in their hearts."
Talking about the song "Le Da", artist Kieu Phuong Loan said that it was a piece of music with a very special composition. Unlike other songs based on poetry, the song "Le Da" had its melody composed by musician Tran Trinh first, and the lyrics were composed by poet Ha Huyen Chi later.
"This song has a strong vitality and is loved by many generations more than 50 years after its release. There is one thing that few people know, which is that the song "Le Da" has 5 different lyrics, not just 1, so I keep remembering one word after another. But the lovely thing is that the song was written with a melody and lyrics that come from the heart" - Artist Kieu Phuong Loan said.
