(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Sharing about the name "Sol's Dream," musician Giang Son said that the name of the live concert was inspired by the title of the song "Midday Dream," which she composed 20 years ago.
Sol's Dream - a large-scale concert celebrating 40 years of Giáng Son's musical career - will take place on the evening of February 15th (the 18th day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Snake) at the outdoor stage of Park City Urban Area in Hanoi.
The program features vocalists Thanh Lam, Tung Duong, Ha Tran, Khanh Linh, Ha Linh, Hoang Dung, and Thuy Chi. Musician Luu Ha An serves as the music director, Xuan Truong as the stage director, and Thien Binh as the executive producer.

Sharing about the title "Gel Dream," composer Giáng Son said that the live concert's name was inspired by the title of her song "Midday Dream," which she composed 20 years ago . At the same time, it's also a "variation" of the composer's own name, which means the note G in music.
"This is a true live concert showcasing Giáng Son's music, introducing to everyone the creative works I've been nurturing for so long, works that I've poured my heart and passion into. An outdoor concert in a large space accommodating about 2,000 people – it's truly a dream I've longed for and pondered over for many years," Giáng Son shared.
According to the female musician, that dream was kindled when she was just a 10-year-old girl, composing her first song as a gift to her father. However, that flame burned silently for so many years because holding a live concert is not easy, and the financial aspect is a major factor.
Fate brought Giáng Son together with producer Thiên Bình when she worked as the music director for Phú Quang's "Love Remains" program in October 2024.
"When she suggested I hold a live concert, I was very happy and immediately accepted. My dream is getting closer as I get to hold a proper live concert to share my songwriting journey, my musical growth, and celebrate 40 years of songwriting," revealed composer Giáng Son.

In Sol's Dream, Giáng Son's 40-year musical journey will be recreated through the female songwriter's compositions. The highlight of the program will be the collaboration of singers with familiar songs.
Notably, alongside contemporary pop or folk songs, the concert will also feature intense and passionate tracks such as: "Thu cạn" (Autumn Fades), "Cỏ và mưa" (Grass and Rain), "Vệt buồn" (Sad Veil)... In addition, Giáng Son will introduce several new, never-before-released songs, including two performed by Thanh Lam and Thùy Chi.
At the event, music director and composer Luu Ha An humorously said: "Looking at the list of singers participating in the program, I just think I have a 'football team full of superstars'. The problem is how to get everyone to sing their favorite song without 'arguing' with each other."
"And if everyone can't agree on who sings which song, then I'll just turn off my phone and only turn it back on during rehearsals."

Tung Duong shared that he and the female musician consider each other like family, so he didn't think about the fee when participating in Giang Son's concert (Photo: Organizers).
When asked about the fees for the "stars," Giáng Son said: "All the singers I invited told me that they wouldn't take any performance fees. I was extremely touched when the singers said that. However, I couldn't let that happen, so I still paid the artists their fees."
Speaking on behalf of the artists, Tung Duong joked that everyone attending the concert did so out of love for Giang Son, hoping that after the concert, the female musician would have enough money to... get married.
"With Giang Son, I'm like family. She's my favorite singer, so the issue of fees isn't even worth discussing anymore; I just hope for Giang Son's wedding," Tung Duong said.
