On November 29 and 30, the "Creative Youth" festival in the Northern region was held in Hanoi with the participation of provincial and municipal youth unions in the Northwest, Northeast, Northern Midlands, Red River Delta and affiliated youth unions.
The festival takes place with activities such as: Experience Day and Youth Creativity Space; Journey to connect creative youth with activities of visiting, exchanging, learning creative models in learning, scientific research at VinUni University and experiencing the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Night Tour; praising outstanding works, solutions, creative products, and initiatives in 2024; Youth Creative Startup Seminar...
According to Secretary of the Central Youth Union Ngo Van Cuong, the "Creative Youth" movement was initiated by the Central Youth Union Secretariat in 2004. The movement has been spread and implemented synchronously by Youth Union chapters at all levels and has become a regular activity of a large number of union members and young people.
Over the past time, millions of ideas, initiatives, projects and creative products have been proposed by young people. Many initiatives have been applied in practice, contributing positively to the development of localities and units. Through the organization of the festival, the Central Youth Union has honored and awarded 660 typical projects, solutions, initiatives and creative products of young people in many areas of social life.

The 2024 Northern Region “Creative Youth” Festival has continued to affirm the determination of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in approaching and addressing the legitimate needs of young people; in designing and organizing revolutionary action movements in accordance with real life, with the legitimate interests and noble aspirations of young people. Thereby continuing to create an environment and favorable conditions for young people to be creative, dedicated and mature.
In 2024, the "Creative Youth" festival at the regional level of the North-Central-South regions was organized for the first time by the Central Youth Union Secretariat on the eve of the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union, term 2024-2029; as one of the youth activities to welcome the Congress.
The festival is organized to create a creative playground for union members and young people, and at the same time to record and evaluate the results of the implementation of the "Creative Youth" movement in 2024.
