Under the chairmanship of the Vietnam Association for the Promotion of Learning and with the support of the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group ( VNPT ), the 2025 Vietnam Talent Award has received profound attention, encouragement, and guidance from the Party and State leaders.

Speaking at the awards ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man affirmed: "The Vietnam Talent Award has marked two decades of formation and development, becoming one of the most prestigious awards in the fields of science and technology, education, and scholarship promotion in Vietnam."
From its initial goal of seeking and honoring talent in the Information Technology industry, the Award has continuously expanded its scope, comprehensively reflecting the pillars of sustainable national development. Through this, the Award has contributed to discovering, encouraging, and disseminating creative values within the community, especially among intellectuals, scientists, and creative workers nationwide.
Over the past 20 years, the "Vietnamese Talents" awards ceremonies have formed a series of events focusing on innovative research and the application of research results to real life. The most common characteristic is that all award recipients are diligent learners, hardworking individuals, genuine students, and true talents. They integrate theory with practice, conduct scientific research, and create new knowledge within the production process, with the goal of serving the people as their primary objective. Many highly applicable and well-organized award-winning products have been ranked among the top 5 high-tech enterprises in the Asia-Pacific region or the top 100 outstanding industrial enterprises globally.

Speaking at the 2025 Vietnam Talent Award Ceremony, Professor Dr. Nguyen Thi Doan, former Vice President of Vietnam, President of the Vietnam Association for the Promotion of Learning, and Head of the Steering Committee for the 2025 Vietnam Talent Award, emphasized: In 2025, the Vietnam Talent Award will be organized with the theme "Honoring talent - inspiring creativity" and its professional orientation is to implement the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo on "Breakthrough development of science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation". The award keeps pace with the trend of technological development as well as the national digital transformation of the Government in the fields of socio-economic development and people's health care.

The talented individuals honored today, and the hundreds of scientists honored in the previous 17 seasons, are symbols and powerful evidence of the courage, intellect, love of work, and relentless creativity of the Vietnamese people throughout the country's development and international integration. They also demonstrate the Vietnamese people's tradition of valuing education and never-ending learning.
According to Huynh Quang Liem, General Director of Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT): "This year's awards ceremony takes place in a special context, as the country is entering a new phase of development, with the aspiration to rise in the digital age through science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation. In the global trend of prioritizing knowledge, innovation, and high-quality human resources as the main driving force, Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo affirms the strategic vision and determination of the Party and State in developing and utilizing talent, considering people – talent – as the center and driving force of national development."
"This is a major policy with a long-term vision, clearly demonstrating the determination of the Party and the State to build Vietnam into a knowledge-based, innovation-driven, and high-quality workforce. From a business perspective, VNPT deeply understands that people are the subjects of technology and the center of innovation. High-quality human resources—people who master knowledge, explore technology, and create new value—are the decisive factors in the competitiveness and sustainable development of the enterprise," Mr. Huynh Quang Liem shared.

The Vietnam Talent Award (NTĐV) was initiated in 2004, jointly organized by the Vietnam Association for the Promotion of Learning and the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), with the initial goal of discovering and honoring talents in the field of information technology in Vietnam. Over 20 years and 18 award ceremonies, the Award has discovered and honored hundreds of talented individuals in various fields, with innovative scientific and technological works and products applied to practical life, contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.
In 2025, amidst the nationwide implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW on the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, the 18th Vietnam Talent Award will continue to undergo significant reforms in content and organization, aiming to discover and honor talents associated with three pillars: science, technology, and innovation.

The award categories have been restructured to align with national development orientations, including: Digital Technology, Medicine and Pharmacy, Youth Innovation, Promoting Education - Self-Learning and Success, and Contribution. Digital Technology continues to be the heart of the Award, reflecting Vietnam's aspirations in building a safe and sustainable digital nation, society, and economy.
The Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) is the lead organizer of this year's Digital Technology category, themed "AI and Big Data - Technologies Creating Breakthroughs," aiming to promote the application of core technologies such as AI, Big Data, Blockchain, Cloud, IoT, and quantum computing in practical management, production, and daily life. The award encourages products with high applicability that serve the digital government, digital economy, and digital society, ensuring data security and cybersecurity, and contributing to improved governance capacity and service quality for citizens and businesses.
In 2025, 168 entries were submitted in the Digital Technology field, demonstrating the strong appeal and growing prestige of the Vietnam Talent Award. Following the preliminary round, 17 outstanding entries were selected by the Judging Panel for the final round, where they presented their projects in a dramatic, intellectual, and creative live defense before the Final Judging Panel on October 25th, 2025, to determine the most deserving recipients of the 2025 Vietnam Talent Award.
This year, the Digital Technology sector is particularly vibrant, attracting many products from young creators aged 16-30, including many high school students, university students, and Vietnamese tech startups. The participation of young people shows that the Award has become a source of inspiration and a launching pad for a new generation of innovators, while also reflecting the strong spirit of innovative entrepreneurship spreading within the Vietnamese technology community.
