Vietnam Talent Awards 2025: Honoring creative technology

Attending the event were Politburo member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Do Van Chien; Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia.

With the chairmanship of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education and the companionship of the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group ( VNPT ), the Vietnam Talent Awards 2025 has received the attention, encouragement and profound direction of the Party and State leaders.

Speaking at the award ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man affirmed: "The Vietnam Talent Award has marked two decades of formation and development, becoming one of the prestigious awards in the fields of science and technology, education and learning encouragement in Vietnam."

From its initial goal of finding and honoring talents in the Information Technology industry, the Award has continuously expanded its scope, comprehensively reflecting the pillars of sustainable development of the country. Thereby, the Award has contributed to discovering, encouraging and spreading creative values in the community, especially the intellectuals, scientists and creative workers across the country.

Over the past 20 years, the “Vietnam Talents” Awards have been connected into a series of events of creative research and application of research results to life. The most common characteristic is that all the awardees are regular students, hard-working, real learners, real test takers, real talent, combining learning with practice, scientific research and creating new knowledge right in the production process, taking serving people as the purpose of activities. Many highly applicable, organized products have been awarded and entered the top 5 high-tech enterprises in the Asia-Pacific region or the top 100 typical industrial enterprises globally.

Speaking at the Vietnam Talent Awards 2025 Ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Doan, former Vice President, President of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education, Head of the Steering Committee of the Vietnam Talent Awards 2025 emphasized: In 2025, the Vietnam Talent Awards will be organized with the theme "Honoring talent - inspiring creativity" and the professional orientation is to implement the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on "Breakthrough in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation", the award keeps pace with the trend of technology development as well as the Government's national digital transformation in the fields of socio-economics and people's health care.

The talents honored today and hundreds of scientists honored in the previous 17 seasons are symbols, a strong testament to the bravery, intelligence, love of work and the endless creativity of the Vietnamese people through the periods of national development and international integration. It is also a testament to the tradition of learning and never-ending learning of the Vietnamese people.

General Director of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) Huynh Quang Liem said: "This year's award ceremony takes place in a special context, when the country is entering a new stage of development, with the aspiration to rise in the digital age through science and technology, innovation and digital transformation. In the global trend of putting knowledge, innovation and high-quality human resources as the main driving force, Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo has affirmed the strategic vision and determination of the Party and State in developing and promoting talents, considering people - talents - as the center and driving force of the country's development".

"This is a major policy with a long-term vision, clearly demonstrating the determination of the Party and State in building Vietnam into a developed country based on knowledge, innovation and high-quality resources. From the perspective of the enterprise, VNPT deeply understands that people are the subject of technology, the center of innovation. It is high-quality human resources, people who know how to master knowledge, exploit technology and create new values, that are the decisive factors in the competitiveness and sustainable development of the enterprise," Mr. Huynh Quang Liem shared.

The Vietnam Talent Award (NTĐV) was initiated in 2004, jointly organized by the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education and the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) with the initial goal of discovering and honoring talents in the field of information technology in Vietnam. After 20 years of operation with 18 awards, the Award has discovered and honored hundreds of talents in many different fields, with creative scientific and technological works and products applied in real life, contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.

In 2025, in the context of the entire Party and people implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW on the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, the 18th Vietnam Talent Awards continues to strongly innovate in content and organization, aiming to discover and honor talents associated with three pillars: Science - Technology - Innovation.

The award areas are restructured to match the national development orientation, including: Digital Technology, Medicine, Creative Youth, Encouragement of Learning - Self-study to achieve success and Dedication. In which, Digital Technology continues to be the heart of the Award, reflecting Vietnam's aspiration in the journey of creating a safe and sustainable digital nation - digital society - digital economy.

Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) is in charge of the implementation, this year's Digital Technology field has the theme: "AI and Big Data - Breakthrough Technology", to promote the application of core technologies such as AI, Big Data, Blockchain, Cloud, IoT, quantum computing... into management, production and life practices. The award encourages highly applicable products, serving the Digital Government, Digital Economy, Digital Society, ensuring data security, network security, contributing to improving management capacity and service quality for people and businesses.

The year 2025 recorded 168 entries in the Digital Technology field, demonstrating the strong appeal and growing prestige of the Vietnam Talent Award. After the Preliminary round, the 17 best entries were selected by the Jury to enter the Final Round and had a dramatic, intellectual and creative live defense before the Final Round Council on October 25, 2025 to find the most worthy faces for the Vietnam Talent Cup 2025.

This year, the Digital Technology field is particularly vibrant, attracting many products from young authors aged 16-30, including many high school students, university students and Vietnamese technology startups. The participation of young people shows that the Award has become a source of inspiration and a launching pad for a new generation of creators, while also reflecting the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship that is spreading strongly in the Vietnamese technology community.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam Talent Awards 2025 awarded the following categories:
