"I'm so happy that after the Vietnamese women's team scored, the U22 Vietnamese team also scored, then the women's team increased the score to 2-0 and the men's team did the same. This result is fantastic."

"This tournament is very challenging for both teams, especially the women's team. Even the recent match against the Philippines was very disappointing. We played better, had more opportunities, but in football, the better team doesn't always win, so we have to be extremely focused and make the most of every opportunity in each match. Hopefully, we will win the biggest prize," the head of the VFF emphasized.

Immediately after the Vietnamese women's team's victory, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan, on behalf of the VFF, personally met with and congratulated Coach Mai Duc Chung and his team, and also awarded them 700 million VND. VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan also reminded Huynh Nhu and her teammates to continue focusing on the upcoming semi-final match.

For his part, coach Mai Duc Chung affirmed: "The Vietnamese women's team is highly focused on the upcoming semi-final match against Indonesia, striving with all their might to defend the gold medal."
