Not only the Vietnamese team, but the Philippine team also claimed they were unfairly treated. The president of the Philippine Taekwondo Federation said his team is suing the organizers for unfair scoring in the semi-final match between the Philippines and Singapore.

Both the Philippines and Vietnam requested a VAR check, but the organizers refused.
