The match between U22 China and U22 Uzbekistan at the Panda Cup ended in a 0-0 draw, but what happened at Chengdu Stadium was full of drama.
Both teams entered the match with determination, creating an exciting attacking game from the very first minutes. U22 China had the more obvious opportunity when an Uzbekistan player let the ball touch his hand in the penalty area in the 9th minute, but was unable to capitalize.

On the opposite side, U22 Uzbekistan responded with a dangerous header from Abdugafur in the 11th minute, making the home defense jump. Opportunities continued to appear in succession, especially when goalkeeper Umar had to handle a careless return ball from his teammate in the 22nd minute.
Despite constantly pressing close to the opponent's goal, U22 China still could not convert the pressure into a goal before the break.
In the second half, coach Antonio Puche increased his attacking personnel to break the deadlock, but all plans collapsed in the 74th minute. Wang Shiqin pulled Asilbek's shirt too clearly and was immediately sent off, putting the home team at a disadvantage. Despite playing with more players, U22 Uzbekistan still could not score.
The 0-0 draw caused U22 China to lose the right to self-determination and had to watch U22 Korea crowned champion after a 1-0 victory over U22 Vietnam.
