According to the report of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, implementing Decision No. 227 dated March 12, 2024 of the Prime Minister on Adjusting a number of land use targets to 2025, the province only adjusted the security land use plan target from 623 hectares to 672 hectares (an increase of 49 hectares). At the same time, through review, the land use targets according to the planning records to 2030 of 7/7 districts and cities are in conflict with the land use targets according to the Provincial Planning. In particular, Ninh Son and Bac Ai districts have important projects that must be prioritized for implementation in the 2024-2025 period but are not yet included in the district-level land use plan to 2030, such as: Phuoc Hoa Pumped Storage Hydropower Project, Tan My Lake Irrigation Canal System, Song Than Lake Project.
Comrade Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.
Concluding the meeting, Mr. Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, suggested that Ninh Son and Bac Ai districts, which have many important provincial and national projects to be implemented in the 2024-2025 period, should prioritize adjusting district-level land use planning to serve as a basis for implementing important projects. The Department of Natural Resources and Environment coordinates with relevant departments and localities to review important works and projects of the province, emerging projects, and land areas that need to be adjusted to supplement the district and provincial land use planning in accordance with regulations; at the same time, review and adjust conflicting contents in the Planning in the direction that lower planning must be adjusted according to higher planning. The Department of Natural Resources and Environment synthesizes supplementary and adjusted contents to advise the Provincial People's Committee on the Proposal to adjust the allocation of provincial land use planning indicators for the 2021-2030 period, and submit it to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for comments for implementation.
