The Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to listen to a report on the draft Decision regulating the area of ​​agricultural land for construction of works serving production.

The draft Decision regulating the area of ​​agricultural land for construction of works directly serving agricultural production in the province was drafted by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development based on the provisions of Clause 3, Article 178 of the 2024 Land Law and Clause 1, Article 9 of Decree No. 112/2024/ND-CP dated September 11, 2024 of the Government detailing the land for rice cultivation. Accordingly, the draft includes 7 articles, regulating the scope of regulation, applicable subjects; area, location, conditions, and purpose of use of construction works directly serving agricultural production on rice cultivation land; responsibilities of agencies, units, and implementation provisions.

Comrade Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, delegates agreed with the draft content; at the same time, commented and added some issues such as: Clearly stating each land area allowed to build agricultural production facilities; conditions for land plots to be granted land use right certificates, in order to facilitate management; considering regulations allowing construction on the same plot or two adjacent plots of the same land user with an area of ​​1,000 m2 or more...

Concluding the working session, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to absorb comments from departments, branches and localities; review and adjust the area scale to suit the land fund in the province. Arrange sentences and words in the document to ensure coherence, remove duplicate and unnecessary content from the draft. Arrange the articles, clauses as well as the order and procedural regulations to be appropriate and easy to understand, ensuring that when promulgated, it will create favorable conditions for practical application and create high consensus among the people.
