At MM Mega Market Vinh, the system proactively increased its reserves of dry food, cooking oil, instant noodles, and increased orders for fresh vegetables, meat, and fish to serve customers during the period affected by Typhoon Kajiki.

The number of shoppers increased compared to normal days, especially on the evening of August 24th, but there was no widespread hoarding. The most popular items included instant noodles, vegetables, cooking oil, milk, and bottled water.

As of the morning of August 25th, goods at MM Mega Market Vinh were still fully stocked, ensuring that the needs of individual customers and corporate clients in the area (canteens, factories, schools, hotels, and restaurants) could be met.

At MM Mega Market Da Nang, shopping activity remains stable. To cope with the prolonged heavy rain that could increase online shopping demand, the center has implemented a delivery plan using trucks instead of motorbikes to ensure smooth deliveries. Simultaneously, the supply of goods has been increased to meet the anticipated surge in consumer demand during the upcoming holiday season.

The Thanh Hoa and Dong Hoi depots, serving a customer base including restaurants, hotels, and canteens, are also increasing reserves, flexibly coordinating transportation, ensuring smooth delivery, and maintaining supply for corporate customers.

In addition to preparing goods, MM Mega Market Vietnam has implemented a comprehensive range of measures to respond to storms and floods, ensuring absolute safety for people and property in the heart of Typhoon Kajiki.

As of the evening of August 24th, centers and depots in the affected area had completed securing signs, roofs, and windows, relocating goods, inspecting drainage systems, and refueling backup generators.

The centers also proactively adjusted their work schedules to limit staff travel during the predicted storm landfall time, while preparing evacuation plans and safe shelters for staff and customers if necessary. Emergency communication channels at each center were activated, sharing safety guidelines in case of storms and floods.
