Van Hau's feelings when returning to play football.

On his personal page at noon on December 4, the player born in 1999 shared an emotional message: "Life is a series of wonderful moments mixed with difficulties, but you must always keep moving forward. Never give up. Happy to be back."

Van Hau's short but determined status quickly attracted thousands of interactions. The photo series capturing the moment he took the field in the match CAHN drew 1-1 with Buriam United is what fans have been waiting for for months.

Many fans, teammates and even relatives left congratulatory messages. Notably, many comments expressed strong emotions when witnessing the Vietnamese national team defender returning to the field. One account wrote: "Touching the field makes me happy, right?" or "I've been waiting for this day for a long time", "Good luck Van Hau".

On the evening of December 3, Van Hau played for the first time in more than 2 years when he was named in the starting lineup of CAHN in the match against Buriram United in the Southeast Asian Club Cup 2025/26. Contrary to the doubts, Van Hau brought a quality performance. Throughout the 90 minutes, he played steadily under constant pressure from the home team.

Van Hau's return not only has personal significance, but also gives Vietnamese football fans more confidence. A new journey opens, and the defender from Thai Binh once again stands at the starting line with the spirit as he wrote: "Never give up".
