When visiting the Great Wall of China, many tourists choose to take the cable car or walk, but there's a more unique and exciting way to descend the mountain: tobogganing. At the Mutianyu section, one of the most beautiful parts of the wall, this experience offers a completely new perspective on this world wonder, especially in autumn when the forests turn vibrant yellow and red.

Experience the waterslide amidst the wonder.
According to Ms. Vu Minh Diep, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, the waterslide at Mutianyu is one of the longest in China, with a total length of over 1.5 km. The slide is designed to wind along the mountainside, starting from watchtower number 6 and ending near the exit area.
Visitors will sit on single or double sleds, controlling their speed themselves with a manual lever: push forward to accelerate and pull backward to brake. The maximum speed is limited to around 30 km/h, ensuring safety while still providing a thrilling experience.

"In autumn, sliding down the toboggan while admiring the mountain scenery filled with golden and red leaves is incredibly exhilarating, like flying. Even though it's cold and my hands are numb, I absolutely love it because I get to admire the picturesque scenery," Ms. Diep shared.
The descent down the mountain takes only about 5-10 minutes depending on your speed, a short time but enough to leave an unforgettable impression.
