The Inspection Committee of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee concluded that the Party Committee of the Department of Science and Technology for the 2017-2020 and 2020-2025 terms and the leadership of this department had many violations and shortcomings that must be reviewed and disciplined.

On December 13, the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee issued a communique on the 29th meeting of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, in which it concluded and proposed to review and discipline many key officials and leaders of the Department of Science and Technology for violations and shortcomings.

The Inspection Committee of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee concluded that the Party Committee of the Department of Science and Technology for the 2017-2020 and 2020-2025 terms had many violations and shortcomings.

Accordingly, the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee concluded that the Party Committee of the Department of Science and Technology for the 2017-2020 and 2020-2025 terms lacked responsibility in leadership, direction, inspection and supervision, allowing the Department of Science and Technology and a number of Party members to commit violations and shortcomings in implementing the Working Regulations of the Department's Party Committee, regulations and rules of the Department.

Advise the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on managing scientific research and technological development activities and in implementing the conclusions of inspection, supervision and handling of denunciations of competent authorities.

Violations and shortcomings of the Party Committee of the Department of Science and Technology for the 2017-2020 and 2020-2025 terms must be reviewed and responsibilities considered.

Regarding individuals, the Inspection Committee of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee concluded that Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Party Secretary and Director of the Department of Science and Technology, was responsible as the head for the violations and shortcomings of the Party Committee and the collective leadership of the Department of Science and Technology; lacked responsibility in leadership, direction, and management, allowing violations and shortcomings to occur in the implementation of the Working Regulations of the Department's Party Committee...

Mr. Thanh's violations and shortcomings are serious enough to require consideration and disciplinary action.

In addition, the conclusion of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission also proposed reviewing the responsibilities and discipline of the two deputy directors of this department, Mr. Tran Cong Hoa and Phan Van Hieu.

The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission assigned the Inspection Team to carry out the review process, consider responsibilities, and propose disciplinary action against party organizations and party members with violations and shortcomings according to Party regulations.
