Attending the closing session were General Secretary To Lam; former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; President Luong Cuong; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung; and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man. Also present were former National Assembly Chairmen Nguyen Van An and Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; Politburo member and Standing Secretary of the Central Committee Tran Cam Tu; Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Committee, and Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai, along with other Politburo members, former Politburo members, Central Committee members, and former Central Committee members.

In his closing remarks, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man stated that at this session, the National Assembly had considered, discussed, and voted to approve 51 laws and 39 resolutions, including 8 normative legal resolutions, accounting for nearly 30% of the total number of normative documents issued during the entire term. These newly passed laws and resolutions both meet practical requirements and create a legal framework for a new stage of national development.

Along with legislative and supervisory work, the National Assembly considered many strategic issues; conducted a thorough and comprehensive review of the work of state agencies during the 2021-2026 term; and decided on personnel matters in accordance with the Party's regulations and the State's laws. The National Assembly also carefully discussed the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party, contributing intellectual insights and suggestions towards the goal of becoming a developing country with modern industry and high middle income by 2030; and a developed country with high income by 2045.

The Speaker of the National Assembly highlighted the achievements of the 15th National Assembly term, including the amendment and supplementation of several articles of the Constitution; the renewal of legislative thinking; the promotion of the application of digital technology and artificial intelligence; and the successful organization of two forums on law and supervision for the first time. The National Assembly also enacted many important laws on perfecting the rule of law, streamlining the apparatus, combating corruption, and in the fields of finance and budget, culture and society, health and education, resources and environment, innovation, digital transformation, national defense and security, and foreign affairs.
