VietABank completes Core Banking upgrade, launches domestic credit card

ANTD.VN - VietABank has just officially launched a new core banking system (Core Banking) according to the most advanced version of Oracle; at the same time, it also "introduced" a new domestic credit card with many attractive utilities.

After more than 1 year of launching the digital transformation strategy with the implementation of the core banking upgrade project, VietABank has successfully converted the Core Banking system in use to the most advanced new version today - Oracle Flexcube 14.7.

Core Banking 14.7 is the foundation for VietABank to update new features for payment deposits, savings deposits, domestic money transfers, personal accounts, business accounts, personal/business loans, limit and collateral management, trade finance, capital and foreign exchange, ATM/POS systems... as well as improve the bank's management.

Thanks to the new core banking system, business processes will be automated, screen operations will be shortened, helping tellers to quickly process transactions and shorten customer waiting time; Risk prevention activities and customer information security will also be enhanced;

The new system will also support a unified Digital Banking interface on all browsers and electronic devices, helping customers feel comfortable and easy to use...

VietABank launches domestic credit card

Immediately after operating the new Core Banking system, on July 4, 2023, this bank immediately launched VietABank domestic credit card, a product that meets the need to spend first, pay later and is used in Vietnam and some Napas affiliated countries.

Customers can request the bank to issue 1 main card and up to 3 supplementary cards. In particular, customers can own a highly personalized card by creating a personal image on the card background instead of the current fixed images.

Domestic credit cards issued by VietABank include many outstanding features such as: Withdrawing money at VietABank ATM system and allied banks nationwide with a fee of only ¼ compared to Visa card withdrawal fee;

Interest-free period of up to 50 days (longest among credit cards); Payment for goods and services on electronic applications by scanning QR codes from August 1, 2023; Online payment on websites and e-commerce applications is convenient and fast...
