Vietcombank participates in the Exhibition "80 years of journey of Independence - Freedom

The exhibition "80 Years of the Journey Towards Independence - Freedom - Happiness," held at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi ), is a special event celebrating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The event is not only an opportunity to look back on the glorious 80-year history of the nation, but also to affirm Vietnam's stature and position today and its aspiration for sustainable development in the future.

The exhibition was organized on the largest scale ever, with the full participation of ministries and central agencies, 34 provinces and cities, and more than 110 large enterprises and economic groups with over 230 booths across the Exhibition Center area (inside the Kim Quy Exhibition House and the outdoor exhibition area in the four East, West, South, and North courtyards).

The participating units showcased achievements in nearly 180 sectors across various fields (industry, agriculture , trade, investment, culture, science and technology, education, health, environment, traditional craft villages, OCOP products, unique local products, national defense, security, foreign affairs, etc.).

With numerous documents, artifacts, machinery and equipment, documentaries, and news reports, the exhibition vividly and comprehensively reflects the outstanding achievements throughout the nation's "80-year journey of independence, freedom, and happiness," while also showcasing the cultural traditions, the enthusiastic work ethic, and the efficient production and business activities of the people and businesses across the country.

This is also a special occasion, portraying the image of Vietnam and its people with its glorious history spanning thousands of years; a rich national culture and unity in diversity among the 54 ethnic groups; the abundance of products across all three regions of the country; and the development and progress of all ministries, departments, and 34 provinces and cities over the past 80 years.

The banking sector participated in the exhibition with the theme "Vietnam Banking Sector - Proud of the Past, Steadfast in the Present, Building the Future," showcasing the journey of building and developing the Vietnamese banking sector; introducing outstanding achievements in monetary policy management and banking operations, contributing to macroeconomic stability, inflation control, and growth promotion, while affirming the sector's vital role in the nation's construction and development.

Visitors can admire valuable documents, impressive artifacts, and vivid images, projected using world-leading modern technology, providing an authentic experience.

Within the banking industry exhibition space, Vietcombank also showcased its 62-year history, highlighting its numerous contributions to the national revolutionary history and the country's economic development and integration by participating in the investment and development of many key national projects; and providing a diverse range of convenient banking services to a large number of people under the theme "Connecting Digital Citizens, Creating Digital Value".
