VinFast has just been awarded the prestigious “Design of the Year” award for its premium electric SUV, the VF 7, at the Zee Media Auto Summit 2025. The Zee Media Auto Summit is an annual event organized by Zee Media Publications, bringing together industry leaders, experts, and innovators to celebrate outstanding achievements and discuss trends shaping the future of mobility in India. Highly regarded for its professional quality, the event has become a prominent platform within the Indian awards system.

This year, VinFast VF 7 made a strong impression on the jury thanks to its futuristic design language, where aesthetics are in harmony with practicality.

Inspired by space vehicles, particularly supersonic aircraft, this C-segment electric SUV boasts sharp lines and bold shapes, creating a sense of speed and movement even when stationary. Subtle details such as hidden door handles, a wide body, and a sloping roofline contribute to an impressive visual effect while also improving aerodynamics.

The interior of the VF 7 continues the "Asymmetrical Universe" design language developed by Torino Design, with a driver-centric cockpit layout. Its powerful performance, large panoramic glass roof, large touchscreen display, and advanced ADAS driver assistance system all give the VF 7 a clear advantage in the Indian electric vehicle segment.

The award is the latest addition to the list of accolades the VF 7 has received in less than a year since its launch in India, including the “Most Anticipated New Car” award from ABP Live News and the “Breakthrough Electric Vehicle of the Year” award from Jagran Hi Tech Awards. The VF 7, along with the VF 6, are assembled at VinFast’s plant in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu.

Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, General Director of VinFast Asia, said: “We are extremely honored to receive the Design of the Year award from Zee Media, one of the leading reputable organizations in the automotive journalism field. This award reflects the continuous efforts of our entire team in our journey of innovation. The VF 7 represents VinFast’s unwavering commitment to providing mobility solutions that are both stylish and sustainable, suitable for the Indian market.”
