(NLDO) - After 5 years of construction, the High-Level People's Procuracy in Ho Chi Minh City has officially operated in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City.


On the afternoon of December 27, the High-Level People's Procuracy in Ho Chi Minh City (High-Level Institute 3) held an inauguration ceremony for its new office at 268 Vo Chi Cong, Cat Lai Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Cao Minh Tri, Deputy Director of the High-Level Institute 3, said that the High-Level Institute 3 (formerly the Appeals Institute 3 under the Supreme People's Procuracy) has its headquarters at 33 Han Thuyen, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1. After the High-Level Institute 3 was established in June 2015, it took over and used this headquarters.

The High Court 3 has a large management area, a large workload and more staff than the previous Court of Appeal 3, so the headquarters can no longer meet the requirements for working area.

The 3rd High-Level Institute had to apply for funding to rent and operate a second headquarters in Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City, but it still could not meet the requirements in the context of the unit's increasing human resources. Therefore, the construction of a new headquarters for the 3rd High-Level Institute was extremely urgent.

In 2019, the Supreme People's Procuracy approved the investment project to build a new office building for the High-Level Institute 3 with a construction period from 2020 to 2024, with a total investment capital from the State budget of about 199.5 billion VND.

The construction of the 3rd High-Level Institute Headquarters began on a land area of ​​11,437 m2 , with a land use area of ​​8,600 m2 and a construction area of ​​2,125 m2.

The headquarters has 3 main items: 8-storey office building, 3-storey official accommodation building and 1-storey reception building and security house.

After a period of urgent construction, efforts to overcome many difficulties due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and site clearance work, the project has now been completed and officially qualified to be put into use.
